iCare - Lifetime Care Last Updated: 8/8/24

This is iCare's Motor Accident Insurance for people that have been severely injured, and is paid for the duration of their life. It is part of NSW compulsory third party insurance on their registration. The injuries include:

• spinal cord injury
• brain injury
• amputations
• burns
• permanent blindness

A service approval will be required before sessions can commence which outlines the type and amount of services we are able to provide. A case must be made for the amount outlined in this.

They may request reports, which are to be sent via email to care-requests@icare.nsw.gov.au. These must be preapproved/requested by insurer prior to writing/billing

Billing:

• Invoices are sent to Lifetime Care through the 'send invoices to' section in Splose
• Requires an approval number in 'extra invoicing details'
• Requires a participant number in 'extra invoicing details'
• Item code required on invoice, must match code on the clients service approval
